 We're Off To A Rootin' Tootin' Good Year!

We have entered the second 6 weeks of school and things are getting busy. We are very excited to start studying Native American of Early Texas in Social Studies. Students participate in such activities as giving themselves a traditional Native American name, making Native American housing, painting hieroglyphics and more! The class is also creating a scarecrow for the contest at the Fall Festival. The winner gets to throw pies at Mr. Birdwell! We are definetely having a blast. Check back for pictures of our fun!
